"Son of Boss"

While we haven't seen Paul Ryan's tax records, we know he has had a government job for almost the entirety of his adult life, with the excellent health care benefits provided to US Congressmen--taxpayer funded benefits he would deny others.   But as a salaried worker, it's safe to assume that he could release the last decade and a half of his tax returns and be no worse for the wear.

The same, however, cannot be said of Mitt Romney.  And the question is still: even if he paid a zero tax rate, did he do so legally?  We will never know until he releases the returns. The American people, surely, have the right to know whether their President has committed felony tax evasion, which, in the United States, carries up to a five year jail term. At such a crucial juncture in its history, the United States cannot afford to have two or three of the next four years spent in impeachment hearings and a Senate trial.  It also can't afford to have an unprepared Vice President assume the reins.

This is an ad should be just the tip of the iceberg. More like these, please, Obama campaign! It's hard hitting. And it's right.
