McCain ahead in Arkansas
So it's not solid for Hillary after all. She is behind by 7. Obama is behind by 29.
There are a number of states where Hillary is not too far behind McCain, but Obama is crushed by him, often on the order of 30 points: Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Oklahoma.
But neither Hillary nor Obama will get those electoral votes. And Obama gets far greater support than Hillary in states Democrats must win, including Washington, Oregon, Iowa.
What has changed over the last week is that the Clinton campaign's race-based attacks and the Wright controversy are moving numbers in a number of battleground state. Clinton, meanwhile, has joined a definite bit of positive movement. They don't change the essential features of last week's maps. They just reposition the candidates in battleground states. And it's beginning to look as if we will have to wait until May to know how the tumult of the last few weeks shakes out.
