Idiot of the day

Liz Sidoti of AP for her article on Kerry's military proposals, which begins with this paragraph:

Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, who lost decisively to President Bush in an election focused on national security, said Tuesday the country would be "far better off" with his proposals for Iraq and the military.

Decisively? The closest election in a quarter century? An election that wasn't decided for days? An electoral vote decided by just one state?

Liz Sidoti, we don't know if you are brainwashed, an ideologue, or just plain dumb. But we do know that you are JUSIPER's Idiot of the Day.

Comments (2):

Liz Sidoti is also one of the many writers who continues to equate spending in Iraq with money "spent on fighting terrorism" (in her May 6, 2005 AP report). This is inaccurate, parrots the GOP, and is one of the main ways the media helped Bush win in 2004.

I just read her "take" on the collapse of the port deal. She referred to Democrats as trying to politicize the situation. My understanding of the whole thing is, that if not for the Dems making such a fuss, it would never have caught the public's eye, like so many other important stories. So, I felt compelled to check into her background to understand where she is coming from. Thanks for the info.
